Our fully functioning MASH service has strong links with our partner agencies and is composed of visible, approachable and supportive Managers and Service Managers who put Children at the centre of what they do.
The successful post holder will be an experienced Social Work Practitioner (3 years post qualified) and will preferably have experience in MASH or frontline Child Protection, in addition to a good understanding of the Pan London CP procedures and thresholds. Achieving good outcomes for children is at the heart of all we do therefore you must have the ability to guide and support partner agencies in taking the appropriate steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
Furthermore, you will support Harrow’s ambition to be an outstanding authority which provides good outcomes with a focus on achieving consistently high performance standards.
As Senior Social Worker, you will work alongside the MASH Team Manager and two Deputy Team Managers, whilst holding responsibility for screening contacts and making threshold recommendations in a very fast pace setting. You will work collaboratively with the MASH partners to ensure good outcomes for the children, young people and families and will be the lead professional for particular partner agencies.
You will be joining a committed and highly motivated team with a strong professional presence and sound understanding of thresholds.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement where you will be expected to be in the office a minimum of 2/3 days however this is subject to change depending on the needs of the service.
