London Social Work for Children (LSWC) is delivered by the London Innovation and Improvement Alliance, which is the Association of London Directors of Children’s Services (ALDCS) sector-led improvement partnership. The LSWC platform is run on behalf of the 33 local authorities in London.
London Councils is the data controller for LSWC. London Councils is registered with the Information Commissioners Office as a Data Controller (registration number Z7848067). All information is collected and processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The legal basis for processing your personal information is that of ‘consent’
If you register/subscribe with LSWC we may capture the following personal data about you, based on your explicit consent:
For protected characteristics such as Age, Gender, and Ethnicity, you are not obliged to give us this information to use LSWC and are able to select ‘Prefer not to say’.
Your personal data will only be used for the following purposes:
To send you tailored social work job opportunities in London (should you sign up to the website and subscribe to receive these opportunities). Your demographic information will be held solely for this purpose.
To send you the latest updates on LSWC (should you subscribe to receive them), including Newsletters and information on upcoming events.
To respond to a contact request (should you submit a request using the website’s contact form)
To troubleshoot any issues you have with accessing/navigating the LSWC website.
We may also collect your device’s IP address. This will not identify you as an individual to us and will not be used for any purposes beyond troubleshooting and improving the LSWC platform.
You have the right to see what information is held about you, have incorrect information corrected, and to have it removed.
