We launched our 0-25 Disability Service in July 2024 bringing together services supporting children and young people and adult services to deliver better outcomes and promote independence for children, young people, and their families as they prepare and transition to adulthood.  We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Team Managers to lead a team in our 0-25 Disabilities Service, offering the opportunity to play a key role in achieving positive outcomes for children, young people and families as they transition to adulthood in Lambeth!

About you

About the role

As a Team Manager in the 0-25 Disabilities Service, you will be at the forefront of our service ensuring the delivery of high-quality responsive support, ensuring a high level of performance and providing a quality service for all our children and young people with complex and severe disabilities, including ensuring a seamless transitioning and preparation to adulthood. The focus of this role will be the delivery of statutory functions aimed at delivering an effective Children’s social care service. You will play a pivotal role in connecting with multi-agency teams to deliver holistic services. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a social care manager to develop their management and leadership skills and broaden their experience.

About you

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be experienced in delivering services to vulnerable children, young people and complex families. You will be lead a team of qualified social workers, providing supervision, case management and overall management oversight for your team; ensuring that risk is managed at the right legislative framework. You will have  the ability to deliver excellent practice standards to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children and young people.

  • A competitive starting salary of £54,684 pa that rises to a maximum of £57,726 pa
