This is a rare opportunity to be part of the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service as a Review and Quality Assurance Manager. In this role you will work with a variety of small teams covering LADO, Participation and Policy and Performance Officers. You will provide operational management for these services and lead on the development and improvement in practice. You will have the opportunity to develop your strategic management skills as you deliver on performance and quality assurance across the department.
About The Team You’ll Be Working In
You will be part of the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service which provides key strategic oversight and scrutiny into the quality of practice, performance and independent review of services across the Children’s Safeguarding and Specialist Services department. Through the continued pursuit of high-quality services, children and young people in the borough receive help and support when they need it and that is ambitious for their future. The Review and Quality Assurance Team is the heartbeat of the quality assurance and independent review of Safeguarding and Specialist Services for the borough, ensuring that learning and practice improvement drive the performance of services. This includes ensuring that the voices of children and young people are embedded in service design through the co-production of new services and the redesign of existing ones. Within the Review and Quality Team you will be responsible for the operational management of the LADOs, Participation Officers and Policy and Performance Officers.
