About the role

We are offering exciting opportunities for Social Workers to join the Court Team within Hillingdon, recently rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. This specialist team works with families who have met the threshold for legal intervention, focusing on intensive intervention, developing safe parenting skills, and supporting sustainable positive changes.

In addition to court work, the team also leads on Permanency Planning, ensuring children can thrive in their forever homes. You'll be part of a high-functioning team recognised as experts in their field before the court. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing assessments and evidence for court proceedings
  • Developing care plans for children and young people
  • Working intensively with families to develop safe parenting skills
  • Supporting sustainable positive changes within family units
  • Leading on permanency planning to secure children's long-term stability

About you

We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. You should be committed to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people through innovative practice and collaborative working. The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Social Work qualification and have a background in children's social work
  • Have completed post-qualifying training to serve this client group effectively
  • Be innovative and creative, open to exploring new models of working
  • Bring fresh ideas and a proactive approach to improve outcomes
  • Be highly motivated and able to build strong relationships with colleagues and partners
  • Work collaboratively to achieve the best results for children and young people
