About the role

We are excited to invite experienced Senior Social Workers to join our Court Team in the London Borough of Hillingdon, recently rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in November 2023.

This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team committed to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people. As a Senior Social Worker in the Court Team, you will:

  • Lead and manage complex cases involving children and families requiring legal intervention.
  • Prepare and present assessments and evidence for court proceedings.
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met.
  • Provide professional supervision and guidance to junior social workers.
  • Contribute to permanency planning and support children to thrive in their 'forever homes'.

You will be part of a high-functioning team recognised as experts in their field before the court. In addition to legal work, the team is also responsible for permanency planning and helping children to thrive in their 'forever homes'.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified and Experienced: A qualified and experienced Social Worker with a strong background in children’s social work. Your experience should be complemented by post-qualifying training, which has developed your skills and knowledge to effectively support our client group.
  • Innovative and Creative: Someone who is open to exploring new models of working to improve outcomes for service users. Bring fresh ideas and a proactive mindset to make a real difference.
  • Highly Motivated: A committed professional who builds strong relationships with colleagues and partners to deliver the best possible outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

In addition to verifying Right to Work in the UK and a new starter health questionnaire, the post is subject to the following pre-employment screening: 

  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Qualifications Check
  • Professional Registration Check
  • 5 years of Referencing
