This is a case holding role with a reduced caseload where you will support the Team Manager of a busy team of 6 social workers (including one ASYE).

  • Working jointly with newly qualified/less experienced social workers and providing management instructions whilst being accountable for the work of these colleagues on such cases
  • Working flexibly in undertaking duties and participating in multi-disciplinary cross-department and cross-organisational groups and task teams
  • Working beyond normal office hours from time to time due to the nature of the work with vulnerable children, families, and carers
