Sutton’s Children’s Services were recently rated Good by Ofsted, with Outstanding leadership, and the council is looking for committed social workers and managers to join its dedicated workforce. The event will give attendees the chance to learn more about Sutton’s new Practice Framework ‘Investing in Excellence’, a five-year training programme designed to provide structured professional development at every career stage.
Michael Radley, Sutton’s Principal Social Worker for Children, will outline how the framework is shaping practice and strengthening outcomes for children. Experienced colleagues from across the Children Looked After, Leaving Care, Court, Locality and Disabled Children’s Teams will also share insights into their day-to-day work and the support available for practitioners.
